gamme NetApp FAS8000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bonjour,<\/p>\n<p><strong>NetApp<\/strong> vient d\u2019annoncer sa nouvelle gamme de baie de stockage compatible <strong>Cluster-Mode<\/strong> et <strong>7-Mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le but est de simplifier le choix en n\u2019ayant plus que deux gammes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FAS22xx<\/strong> pour les petites structures et les solutions de sauvegarde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FAS80xx<\/strong> pour les solutions moyennes et grosses entreprises qui vont remplacer la gamme <strong>FAS32xx <\/strong>et<strong> FAS62xx<\/strong>, ceci afin d\u2019optimiser et simplifier l\u2019offre.<\/p>\n<p>Premier \u00e9l\u00e9ment, une solution <strong>FlexArray<\/strong>, qui devient une licence \u00e0 options et qui n\u2019est autre que notre bonne vieille gamme<strong> V-Serie<\/strong>, permettant de poser un contr\u00f4leur <strong>NetApp<\/strong> devant une baie tiers (<strong>EMC, HDS ou HP<\/strong>) et donc de profiter de toutes les fonctionnalit\u00e9s de NetApp, sans racheter du disque.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ce qui est des contr\u00f4leurs et de leurs nouveaut\u00e9s, ils offrent de nouveaux <strong>CPUs<\/strong>, avec plus de cores, sur un <strong>chipset Sandy Bridge<\/strong>, une architecture <strong>PCIe Gen 3<\/strong> et de la <strong>NVRAM9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.virtualementvotre.ch\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/FAS8000.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Autre point concernant les processeurs, un \u2018\u2019<strong>WAFL parallelization tuning unifed<\/strong>\u2019\u2019 a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit, dans le <strong>ONTAP 8.2<\/strong>, afin de profiter de tous les cores \u00e0 dispositions et donc d\u2019avoir plus de performance.<\/p>\n<p>Des cartes 10GB Ethernet, par d\u00e9faut et une nouveaut\u00e9, avec des ports <strong>UTA2 (Unifed Target Adapter)<\/strong> offrant la souplesse de mettre, soit du <strong>10 GB Ethernet<\/strong>, soit du <strong>16 GB FC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ils ajoutent la possibilit\u00e9 de rajouter des cartes 10GB, pour le r\u00e9seau du cluster interconnect, afin de pouvoir offrir un plus grand <strong>Scale-out<\/strong>, sans p\u00e9jorer la performance du cluster.<\/p>\n<p>A ce sujet, le nombre de n\u0153ud par cluster, selon le type de technologie, n\u2019a pas beaucoup chang\u00e9\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><a
